SATO Emi

Editor and writer. Graduated from the architectural design course at the School of Art & Design of the University of Tsukuba. She left the full-term doctoral program at the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences of the Uni- versity of Tsukuba, after specializing in fine arts. Her works as editor include 14th Japan Media Arts Festival Awardee Catalogue (2010), Art Project: Arts and a Co-creation Society (Suiyosha, 2014), Manga*Anime*Games from Japan from 1989 (Kokusho, 2015), and 9th Yebisu International Festival for Art and Alternative Visions Official Pamphlet (Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, 2017). Recent work includes editing and contributions to such projects as the website DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS TODAY (The Nippon Foundation, 2017 onwards), and Forest of Expression (Arts Maebashi, from 2016).
