Game education journalist. Honorary Chairperson and Secretary General of the Japan Chapter of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA). Lecturer at International Professional University of Technology in Tokyo. After serving as Editor in Chief at Game Hihyo (Game Review) magazine, since 2000 he has been working as a freelance journalist. Started teaching at vocational schools and universities in 2017, he works as a game education journalist. Among other publications he has authored and edited Game Creator ga Shiru Beki 97 no Koto 2 (97 Things Game Creators Should Know 2), (O’Reilly Japan, 2013).
