Part-time lecturer at Seijo University. He specializes in animation research (especially in relation to photographic images) and aesthetics. His major papers include “Fleischer’s rotating shooting platform as an animation machine” (Eizogaku, a journal of the Japan Society of Image Arts and Science, No. 105, 2021).
